Welcome to the enchanting world of “Evernight Tale,” a game where magic and mystery envelop every corner.  This adventure platformer invites you to step into a realm where the dark Middle Ages come alive, filled with mystical creatures and forgotten places. The story unfolds with the villages once protected by a brave hero, renowned for his strength and courage that brought happiness and peace. However, his fate took a tragic turn during a battle with a powerful witch. Not only did the hero fall, but he was also cursed along with the villagers. This curse plunged the world into darkness, transforming the people into bloodthirsty beasts, stripping them of their humanity. In this dire world, a courageous child stands against the darkness, refusing to accept defeat. Determined to break the curse and restore peace, this young protagonist embarks on a perilous journey to confront the evil witch. Along the way, the child faces numerous challenges and engages with many who know the tales of the fallen hero, piecing together his story and the origins of the curse. “Evernight Tale” is not just an exploration of mystical lands but also a deep dive into a richly woven narrative, where every interaction and discovery builds upon the haunting lore of this cursed world. The game was brought to life through a collaborative effort: Nikolett Mátrai, who masterfully crafted the storytelling, visual design, UI, and character animations. Viktor Deme, whose expert programming skills were crucial to developing the game. Advisors Dániel Gyöngy and Ede Troll, whose insights and guidance were invaluable in shaping the game.
