She eventually transforms into her Manifest form, leaving Boyfriend and Girlfriend fighting to stay in control of the situation. The classic route follows a similar theme but starts with Sky shifting into the FNF universe and trapping both characters in a blank void. She tries to win Boyfriend over through music, grows frustrated when he rejects her, and then targets Girlfriend. The conflict builds until it reaches a final showdown between Sky and Boyfriend. Vs. Sky Redux went through a long and complicated development period. The project was first mentioned in mid‑2023, paused due to uncertainty about the art direction, and then revived in early 2024.
