MÆRE II is the spooky sequel to the original MÆRE, a game I made for Halloween about trying to catch some Z’s in a haunted room. In MÆRE II, I’ve taken all the feedback from the first game and cranked up the creepy factor! What’s New in MÆRE II: Randomized Spooks: Unlike MÆRE I, now each time you play, the ghostly events are different, making each experience unique and extra eerie! Fear Factor: Be extra careful! If your fear level gets too high, those scary ghosts might just get you! Can you survive a night in this haunted room and make it till morning? It’s going to be a hair-raising adventure! Sweet dreams… if you dare! How to play The object of the game is to fall asleep. HOLD J to close your eyes. RELEASE J to open them. Keep your EYES CLOSED and FEAR levels low to fall asleep. If you hear something in the dark it will raise your FEAR levels, as will seeing an entity. It is difficult to fall asleep if you are afraid. So make sure you keep your FEAR level low. You can reduce your FEAR level by looking around the area where ou heard the noise coming from, this will reassure you that the area is safe. Use A and D KEYS to look around. Ghosts thrive on attention. So if you do see something that should not be there. Don’t pay attention to it and eventually it will leave you alone. When asleep you may dream.
