In Transformers Battle For The Matrix, your job is to help optimus prime or bumblebee battle for the matrix. A fun transformers sidescroller in which the player must shoot various foes to reach the end of each level. Some levels require the player to reach the end within a certain time limit, while driving, fighting or dodging enemies. The player is given the choice between using Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Health can be regained by collecting energon cubes, weapons can be similarly upgraded with pickups, and Autobot insignia are scattered around which give you additional score.
