CelesteNES is a fan-made demake of the popular platformer Celeste, rebuilt from the ground up for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by iProgramInCpp, this public demo—released to celebrate Celeste’s anniversary—includes the Prologue and the game’s first two chapters. It translates the modern title’s challenging climbing mechanics and emotional storytelling into a stripped-down 8-bit format, complete with retro pixel art and chiptune music.
