Sonic 3 New Age is a fan-made hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with new gameplay. Our story unfolds following the happenings in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. After Robotnik is defeated and the Death Egg crumbles, you and Knuckles are on somewhat good terms. However, don’t think Knuckles is ready to welcome you into his territory with open arms. He still doesn’t fully trust you and is determined to keep you away from his precious Master Emerald. Meanwhile, Robotnik is back and brewing up plans for revenge! Even though the Death Egg is no more, one should never underestimate the genius of Robotnik’s sinister invention-making mind. This hack contains five acts worth of gameplay, and seven custom special stages. Playing through the whole game isn’t a requirement, you may freely select any zone to start on.
