How to Play Sonic in Troll Island

To play Sonic in Troll Island, simply wait for the game to load and follow the on-screen instructions. Most games on Tilted.rip use either your Mouse for navigation and action, or the WASD / Arrow Keys for movement.

If the game requires specific controls, they will usually be displayed in the game menu or during the first levels. You can use the Fullscreen button to get the best experience.

Sonic 1, except you are constantly being trolled. A funny sonic hack with a lot of trolling going on. Sonic in Troll Island is a Sonic 1 hack, which main focus is to be a very fun and entertaining game for those who will play, with some pretty funny stuff at the levels and with a great soundtrack too! But I have an important note to say: It’s still a BETA version. So, many things can be added in the future, and some levels may look empty in some parts, for a while. This hack is very focused on 3 things: music, layouts, and troll things. But what means “Troll Things”? These are things placed in levels that can make you lose rings and die a few times. But nothing is too difficult like a Kaizo Sonic… it’s actually very easy! Everything that has changed since then: Layouts of various levels (not all), palettes, music, some sprites, some .asm files and texts Level art has not been modified for a while. Modified Levels: The modified zones are from Green Hill until Star Light act 1. The rest of the levels have only palettes and music changed. Final Boss sprites, credits song, and texts are modified too, so worth playing until the end! At the end of the game, Sonic must fight with Robotrollnik for some reason (I haven’t thought of the story yet). Main programs used: SonLVL, SonED2, mid2smps, SonMapEd, Hex editor and Notepad++. Credits: All these things were made by me (matheusbrancobs), so I want to credit and thanks to the Sonic Retro tutorials and the SSRG community too, forgive me for feedback and suggestions, and some sites that have a lot of MIDI files too. I used and modified some of these, and other songs I had to create the midi file (but I don’t compose, they are remakes of existing songs)
